Lol. I havent thought of that painting in years. Thats pretty much what has happened to me with my daughter.
But Santa Mouse is still real.
(Id post a picture of that book, but since I spilled coffee on my keyboard a couple weeks ago I do not have a working quote button).
When I got old enough to begin to have doubts about Santa - I heard some noise on the roof one Christmas Eve and some sleigh bells ringing. That had me going for several more years. When the kids at school started saying there was no Santa Claus, I told them, "I don't care what you say - I know he's real because I heard him."
To this day I don't know if it was my dad or the real thing.
Thats a great story.
My family kept Santa real for a very long time growning up.
My wifes family was not as fortunate. My wifes older sister had a real issue with a stranger comming into the house while everyone was asleep when they were kids. I wish I could tell the story the way she does, it gets funnier everytime I hear it.
That is the one !
Thanks.
Norman Rockwell's art is wonderful.
IMO
Watching young kids on Christmas morning is very special.
