Your shut up and bite me posts are indeed bitter and they seem frequent. You're exaggerating, period.
I know exactly how many times I've said those things. And it's not "frequent."

Not all fathers had "something to do" with their children either. Ever heard of adoption?
AHEM
In adoption NEITHER parent had anything to do with the birth

>>>It may not be ideal, but at least Mary is in a long-term committed relationship, and the child will have strong, loving grandparents.
The child will be loved and well cared for, which is more than can be said for many other kids. I wish them the best.>>>
I agree. Here in rural Georgia, a heterocouple and Grandpa were charged with having TWO meth labs going in a CAMPER with their four children, aged 2-8 years old, on the floor asleep. Yeah, THAT was a healthy home life.

Where? People that don't agree are now 'rats?
This article has been linked to from other web sites. Undoubtedly, a percentage of the more controversial posts in this thread are Rat trolls enjoying a chuckle at our expense.

I certainly don't need forgiveness from the likes of you.
The very fact that you think you can give it to me is kind of scary.............LOL.

Ah. So thinking that children should be raised in a family with a father and mother is now "radical."Oh, you thought I was talking about you? Didn't see your post about a father and mother, just the one about the "disordered" mother. Nor did I see how Mary Cheney's child would in any case have been brought up in a male/female family. Nor did I see any mention of the millions of one parent families, which I'm sure concern you just as well....
Some might just think that a loving family, even if not traditional is still worth supporting. I know the future grandfather seems to think so.
Our society is sick. More and more it looks like the illness may be terminal.
Well, based on a few posts I've seen here recently, you just may have hit on something!

I wish that were true, friend. Unfortunately we have our own "homegrown" nuts right here in River City. :-)

"And one thing I did learn from MY dad was to take care of my family, so I am their mother and their father now."
God has blessed you an awesome responsibility. I can't imagine how difficult it would be to raise children without my wife. Pass the lessons that your father has given you along to your sister's children without the bitterness that you feel toward their father.
They know what he is - and they know what you are. Your sister is watching over you. I'm certain she is pleased.
God bless.

Bingo!
"Boy, I must have struck a nerve with you, huh?" + "Go play your stupid head games ..."
There's that hypocrisy and/or double standard so beloved by the left!
Much like going down the thread arrogantly insulting others & then acting as if you're the aggrieved party once anyone objects.
Plus, you must be a graduate of the "PeeWee Herman School of Cutting Repartee" since "with somebody who may value your opinions" is clearly on a par with "I know you are but what am I ?"

Some fathers come along well after the conception and even birth and end up accepting and loving the child as their own. Just because the one person isn't involved in the process doesn't mean they won't love the child. Heck, some women get sperm donars for sterile men. Do you think those men won't love their child?

Preposterous.

Seems a reasonable assumption to make considering you responded to me.

All you've got is a string of non sequiturs. Good luck with that.
Some might just think that a loving family, even if not traditional is still worth supporting.
"Not traditional"? Is that the PC term for disordered/dysfunctional/harmful to the child?
There's a reason the "traditional" family achieved that status--because it is the absolute BEST model for raising children. A society that discards the "traditional" family for a panoply of non-traditional, feel-good junk is one that's headed for the dung-heap of history.

Signs are tough.
I almost never get them and when I do it's like another piece of puzzle that I still have to figure out anyway. True "faith" is faith in spite of the signs.
You'll see your sister's children grow up with all the good stuff that your father passed on to the both of you. What could be more miraculous than that? Sometimes "we" are the sign.
Good luck and God bless.
