That is why Paul says in 1 Cor 15:43 "it is sown in dishonor". And that is why the Psalmist says "because you will not abandon me to the grave, nor will you let your Holy One see decay" (Ps 16:10). See also Acts 2:27-31, 13:34-37. And Paul says in Rom 8:21 that "the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay", showing that to be subject to decay is to be under a form of bondage.
