I think you are correct in describing the government and the sheeple. However, there are still quite a few of us armed citizens that love America and are prepared to defend it from all enemies foreign and domestic. It's sad that traitors like Clinton and Kerry are not punished per the constitution. It's still the supreme law of the land. What's even worse, is that armed patriots are considered part of the "white supremacist-survivalist right wing conspiracy" by the media and leftist Godless commies that run the democratic party. I sure hope Robert Gates was just telling them what they wanted to hear to get confirmed. If not, he seems like he's going to be more part of the problem than the solution.

I would tell the customer the prayer area is in a conference room. I would put that in their gym contract. Every gym has one open area or room somewhere. Most people prefer to have their privacy and don't want to intrude on others.

Most people are reasonable but you have individuals trying to get a name for themselves and start trouble.

The muslim woman needs to plan her day so she doesn't inconvenience non-muslims. Scheduling time at the gym when she knows it will conflict with the time she wants to drop a rug to pray is a willful stunt to make a public scene. Prayer time for muslims is no big secret. It's scheduled.

Your response made me start thinking about something. Those imam's making a spectacle of themselves at the airport...praying and shouting "allah!" Wonder what the reaction would have been if other passengers stood up or knelt in the same area and recited the Lord's Prayer? Or as you state, reciting the Pledge of Allegiance. I don't think such an action would need to even be staged. Only I person doing it would inspire others to join in. If they can pray in public, so can the rest of us. For those inclined to do so, it is time to take back our Christianity. It is time to stop having our Christianity only be on Sundays. Our faith says we can pray and call on God anytime. The secularists have backed Christians into a nice, neat little room called a church on Sunday. Think about it. Really think about all the places in the last 20 years that you are not allowed to ...pray. Can your kids in school say grace over their lunch meals? No it is time to stand up with God.

Ms. Sultan later complained that the Fitness USA management was unconcerned about the humiliation she suffered when her prayers were interrupted. She stated that the gym personnel were insensitive, rejected her complaints and did not satisfactorily intervene on her behalf.

Most people (I am talking about normal people, not Muslims) avoid confrontations and tend to be respectful of others' personal space.

Here is what I believe really happened:

GYM PATRON (seeing woman prostrate on locker room floor): Is something wrong? Are you OK?

WAFA SULTAN: Ulululu allahsnackbar itbach al yahood... (Bangs head on floor several times in apparent throes of devotion)

GYM PATRON: Um, excuse me, do you mind, I just need to get to my locker for a second...

WAFA SULTAN: Allahallahallahallah...

GYM PATRON: Can I, like, just get into my locker?

WAFA SULTAN: (after completing devotions with some more head slams, stands up) YOU INTERRUPTED MY PRAYERS! YOU DISTURBED ME WHILE I WAS PRAYING TO ALLAH!!

GYM PATRON: I'm sorry, I didn't know...I just want to get into my locker.

WAFA SULTAN: THIS IS A HUMILIATION! YOU VIOLATED MY CIVIL RIGHTS! I AM REPORTING YOU TO THE POLICE, AND CAIR, AND I WILL SUE YOU FOR EVERYTHING YOU OWN! (whips out phone and speed dials CAIR)

I spend some time in airports-happily not nearly as much as I did 15 years ago, but I fly on business about 5 times a year. One of those sand monkeys are going to catch me in a bad mood one time at the airport and if they decide to start praying in a waiting area, I am going to go over, stand next to them and start reciting the pledge of allegiance.
