Leftism allows you to hold contradictory ideas in the same mind at the same time. Logic and reason are not needed, just the expediency of whatever contributes to the ultimate goal of leftism: making everyone a mind-numbed atheistic materialistic robot which does the bidding of an all-powerful collectivity.
