How far has it risen already?

An excellent question for which I haven't an adequate answer.

To the proposition that extraterrestrial life should be plentiful, Enrico Fermi is reported to have asked, "Where are they?" That led to what is known as the Fermi Paradox. Regarding the dire effects of global warming, I now ask, "Where is it?" The Decimon Paradox. :-) We should have seen something by now.

I do see something right now. The grass in my front yard is still bright green. In December. In Michigan.

Twenty years ago, the grass had all turned brown and had gone dormant by the first or second week of November. Now it doesn't happen until the middle of December.

Not just this year, but every year. Every year the grass stays greener just a bit longer.

Say what you want, think what you want, but my grass is still green in December.

How could a barracude from the tropics get to SC? The Gulf Stream...

We new Englanders are all set for global warming. The last glacier compressed the lands north of Long Island so heavily that they're still rebounding...

US, 1. Fearmongers, O in my book.
