Every so often, a public figure will speak a sentence that succinctly sums up his or her entire worldview in just a few words, exposing the core belief that is the wellspring of his or her every position on matters of consequence. Consider, for instance, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi’s recent assertion: "If we [the U.S. military] leave Iraq, then the insurgents will leave Iraq, the terrorists will leave Iraq."

That sentence tells us virtually everything we really need to know about the workings of Nancy Pelosi’s mind.

Although I object to the use of the word "think" with regard to Ms. "Pelosi", this is an excellent (read: terrifying) look into the mind of the Soft on Terror American Left.

I happen to agree with Nancy on this one.

We leave Iraq, the terrorist and insurgents leave Iraq, the terrorist and insurgents come to our shores and the war continues here instead of there!

Sad, but I think the hard reality is this is a road we must travel so all will see the barbarity of Islam.

I've already made my decision for the next cycle of federal elections. I will only vote for candidates that admit Islam is the enemy, Islam is making war upon us, and candidates that intend to fight Islam with everything we can muster. I don't care if the candidate is riding a donkey or an elephant so long as the candidate is a red-blooded American.

I believe Nancy is right. They will have won in Iraq and will carry their war on to the next region. Now: Where will that be? I would say the gaza strip will get some of them, Lebanon will get some, France may get a few and certainly when they sense our weakness and know how weal our borders are we will get some.

Exactly. What the Jihadists want most is a state of their own--especially one awash in petro dollars. One could argue that they already have that in Saudi Arabia. If she thinks they're going to just shrug and walk away, she is deluding herself.
