Sadly, Churchill couldn't get elected in Pennsylvania today, either.
****
The Conservative Party in the UK lost the election after WWII, bringing Labour and Atlee and Socialism to the UK, and turning away Churchill's party.

YES...the DEMOCRATS that think that empty suit CASEY was better, (only run on his dead father's name).
YES...the REPUBLICANS that thought they would teach Rick a lesson he would never forget, (they punish the rest of us that supported Rick).
YES...THEY did a GREAT disservice to Pennsylvania, the United States of America and to every human being living there.
Yes...ask them if they are proud of themselves...their answer:
"WHY YES WE ARE"

cicero- I've as well felt all along Sentorum was one of the only true voices of reason and sensibility in politics- it's a dang shame that we, as a country, are too guillible to concider listening to a voice of true sensibility. Another good voice is Steele, and Sen King. With these three running our country Terrorists would be scrambling for cover, and illegal immigration would be a thing of the past- but apparently the people want to keep spending billions on an illegal imigration blight on this country & they want to keep speninding billions on the war on terror when it could have been over by now. http://sacredscoop.com

I have a bad feeling that I'm going to re-read this speech in five years and say, "D@mn, he was right about everything."
I just pray that an American city or two haven't been turned into smoking craters by then.

It could very well happen with the direction we're headed. Liberals and defeatists fail to recognize that everything will change for the worse if we lose a city.

Well, he certainly makes one point I've been making since not long after 9/11. You can't win in Iraq without dealing with Syria and Iran. And then, although he doesn't add it, you have to stop the Saudis from funding terrorism all over the world.
It's like fighting World War II on one small front and ignoring all the rest. Not a good idea.

Nice to see one man get it, sad to say he's leaving the Senate.

Of course he'd win PA if nominated. Who's ever heard of a state rejecting its favorite son in a presidential race? Happens very rarely.

Mr. Santorum has been a great senator, who has a better understanding of radical Islam than possibly any other politican. It was really a shame that Santorum and other great leaders like Allen and Ehrlich lost in this past election. I believe it was Glen Beck who compared Santorum to Churchill. Mark Levin has said at least a couple times that Santorum should consider running for President. Some conservative in the Republican party, who minces no words, must challenge RINOS like McCain and Guiliani. I heard recently that Huckabee from Arkansas, another RINO, whose open borders, may run as well. If Santorum runs, I will immediately volunteer to help his campaign and do everything in my power to help him get elected.
To: Cicero
Nixon was humilated in his loss of the governorship of California in 1962 ("this is my last press conference") and was elected President of the United States 6 years later.
Santorum could easily run for President in 2012 if there is a Democratic incumbent in the White House.
