Sears Supports Homosexual TV Network With Advertising
AFA ^ | December 7, 2006 | Donald E. Wildmon

Posted on 12/08/2006 2:55:09 PM PST by MovementConservative

Two-minute infomercials sponsored explicitly by Sears helps keep the homosexual network on the air.

Sears has thrown its support to the LOGO network. LOGO is the 24-hour cable television network dedicated to programming for lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgenders according to a homosexual advertising website. It is carried on many cable systems around the country. Many of you have been forced to accept it as part of your cable package. Sears is now helping to make it mainstream!

Sear's advertising will help LOGO air shows like "Sex 2K Drag Kings," "The Gayest and Greatest of 2006," and "Transgeneration."

Sears advertising (two-minute infomercials) will go to help the fledging network get on firm financial ground. Sears advertising is financing LOGO's push to legalize homosexual marriage in addition to promoting the homosexual lifestyle.

Sears is owned by Kmart Corporation.

Take Action 1. Send an email to Sears asking them to cancel their advertising on LOGO.

2. Call your local Sears store and ask why Sears is supporting the homosexual network with its advertising.

3. Forward this email to your friends and family.

Send Your Email to Sears Now!

If you think our efforts are worthy, would you please support us with a small gift? Thank you for caring enough to get involved.

Sincerely,

Donald E. Wildmon, Founder and Chairman American Family Association

Already WAY ahead of the curve. I stopped shopping at KMart when the stopped selling firearms and I don't think I have ever shopped at Sears cause I got better prices elsewhere.

Free market capitalism demands that I shop at the store closest to me. Social issues are not addressed by Milton Friedman, and so this announcement by F. Donald Wilmon cannot affect what decision I make when I decide to go shopping that day.

It is only if F. Donald Wilmon is willing to put up an argument based on the whims of the Free Market Philosophy that I will be swayed. Social issues are not addressed neither by other economists.

Which one? The homosexual agenda or the opposition to it?

I do not agree with the homosexual lifestyle. But I see no reason to make a big deal out of this. Sears has been buying ads to air on a bunch of different channels. This doesnt mean much.

By all means shop where you like. Just please understand that the rest of us will do the same, and social issues do matter to some of us.

Neither...the marketplace should win out without these creeps asking for money.

Yeah, who ever heard of solicitations of $ on the internet? Ban all pay-pal donations to any website. /sarcasm

This makes doing all of my Christmas shopping at the local hardware just that much easier.

Homos spend money too.

If I owned a store, I'd take it.

I wonder if this guy objects to selling/providing food, water, electricity, housing, gasoline, schooling, clothing, to certain categories of people?

Would that follow from the article?

Well SEARS has an EXCELLENT policy for employees in the reserves --they make up the entire difference in their salaries if they are activated

Sears first responsibility is to make money for its shareholders. Advertising on a gay network may contribute to increased sales which may help do just that.

If Sears bought ad space in The Nation someone here would be screaming that it's advocating for left-wingers. Some of you should rest up for the real battles.

If you read BOTH sentences in my post, I think it's obvious for all but the most obtuse.
