No where in that prophecy, or of other Old Testament prophets concerning events that have not yet transpired, is the nation of American even alluded to.
We are just "not in it."
I am almost certain that the United States (as the nation we now know) will cease to be in the not so distant future.
Revelations chapter 12 verse 14,
'And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent."
The woman referred to is the remnant of Israel and I have often prayed that the eagles wings and wilderness were America. Although we have fallen a ways I believe God still has a purpose for us.
I have heard the same overview from others. The last election almost makes it a certainty. International Jihad Inc is relishing what they hope will be reversed in January.
It's like mid-1939 all over again, and this time the (Islamo)Nazis have nukes & bio-chem weaponry. G-d help US!
I see it a different way. Hopefully this means the US will be gutted during the rapture. If the Christians are removed, those that are left (pun intended) will not be interested in helping or protecting Israel, and therefore are not mentioned in endtimes prophecies.
