It is hard not to be angry. Some of the stuff coming out of the mouthes of our world "leadership" is not just appalling but it makes one wonder what lens do they see themselves through. They keep pretending that Iran and North Korea don't really mean anything by their threats. They are allowing great rhetorical power to be wielded by those who intend to place themselves in a position to rule the world and if not destroy it in the process of trying.

Let us talk of assassinating a tyrant who is individually responsible for the deaths of hundreds or thousands and an out cry rises from the world. What I want is a leadership that makes decisions based upon what is real and what is right. Playing pretend with bullies is like offering them an admission fee to the school playground. The only solution to deal with those who intend to oppress is to knock them down and keep knocking them down.

These word games are going to get us all killed, well not all. The people where I come from would survive and most of rural America would survive. We'd fight till we had no fight left in us. I have to worry though. If the future leadership is any worse than what is currently demonstrated we won't be fighting just the enemy from abroad, we will be fighting our own civil war with those who just want to make peace and blame the jews.

It is hard not to be angry.................

Indeed it is. I guess the most disheartening event for me, was when I witnessed our president (and vice president) wearing blue ties, president mumbling and stammering at the questions of a clueless punk reporter about whether he would admit that he "was wrong", etc.

I believed I sensed a finality to it all.

Our country seems to be without leadership now, adrift and without even the most rudimentary sense of the danger approaching.

Your sentiments have given me a lift.
