America's Fatal Weakness
Canadian Press ^ | December 11, 2006 | JB Williams

Terrorists abroad have spent decades preparing for war against the west, studying American culture, identifying all of the cracks in the mortar, all of the weak links in our chain of command and the soft spots in our defenses that make the worlds last remaining super-power a vulnerable target for any terrorists willing to die for the cause.

In retrospect, America's weaknesses were more obvious to others than most Americans thought.

From the column...

"He with the will to win will win. He won't accept any other outcome."

This is the bottom line and we are losing the war of wills...

Our culture no longer knows what American ideals are...

Democratic Socialism - learn it, love it, live it! It's the future of America under tyranny...

In the eyes of our enemies, America's decency and honor, our rules of engagement even at war, is our weakness.

Yep. We pretty much fight a war with our hands tied behind our backs while the Isamofacists kick us in the balls.

The author makes some good points, but he misses out another weakness, our liberal media who fights the war of public opinion for our ememies.

"Cry havoc and let slip the dogs of war."

In World War II our fire bombings of Germany and Japan killed many more civilians than military personnel. This was the application of methodical terrorism. It worked. We won they lost.

Any war you fight that is fought on the terms of the enemy is a war you will lose. Our enemy does not see us as noble because of our rules of engagement. They think we are weak and stupid because of our rules of engagement. In this war if it looks suspicious, kill it! Otherwise, we are the ones that will die. The logic behind a war may be noble but the execution of war is not noble. It is deadly and brutish. All wars have errors in which civilians die, and soldiers die because of friendly fire. We must accept this and destroy the enemy or we will lose.

The civilian population of Iraq is the jungle the enemy hides in. They will protect our enemy until they are more afraid of us than the enemy. As River Rat says, "if you are not willing to kill your enemy and all that stand with him, surrender to him for you have already lost."

"Cry havoc, and let slip the dogs of war."

Political Correctness:

”A doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical liberal minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.”

By spreading this definition around, perhaps we can employ one of the more effective methods of deflating and defeating the fools who practice and promote it: RIDICULE.

Unless stopped – and soon – PC will DESTROY Western Civilization -- if it hasn’t already.

PASS IT ON!!

Our weakness at home is that we allow domestic enemies to subvert us via our own laws. This is a well planned strategery and may well work if we sit by passively.

We may not survive long enough for Democratic socialism to take hold if we don't prevail in the Islamic War.

I can't disagree with this. What I want to know is how we, as single Americans can change this. Can you make some positive suggestions to this effect?

"and the populations forcibly converted to Christianity"

I hope you lay no claim to understanding the religious faith of Jesus Christ. Put down your keyboard and pick up the Bible and read Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts, Romans and Hebrews. Then get back to us. Until then, what unmitigated tripe!

It seems the firebombings may not have affectd the course of the war itself. Studies have shown that there was no reduction in the production of war materiel in Germany after the firebombings. What was accomplished was the defeat of the population. It was necessary to stun and defeat the population for the occupation to accomplish the transformation of the whole system to democracy. The same result occurred in Japan, though there the nuclear attacks did, indeed, also directly end the resistence.

The Shootout! this weekend on the History Channel was about the Tet offensive. One on the speakers interviewed mentioned an interesting fact that there was no "Pearl Harbor" to rally public support for that war. Well, we have had our 9/11, and the gov still insists on fighting a PC "war" on terror. How many more Americans have to die before we fight to win?

I am afraid it will take at least another 9/11 before this country can muster the guts to really take it to the Islamofascists. In spades.

It has nothing to do with the theology of Christianity. It has to do with the replacement of Islam which is necessary to end the threat of the barbarians. What would you replace Islam with? Humanism? Replacing religion with purely rational pap will not take with a population that has not grown up in the Northeastern US suburbs and gone to Harvard. It is not realistic to determine to send them all to Harvard. Forcible conversion is far superior to genocide which is the rational alternative for removing the threat from our children's future.

You do not understand even a little bit the threat that Islam poses to the existence of yourself and to Christianity, and to Buddhism, and to everything else.
