Yeah, that'll help. "US firepower" hasn't ended the "insurgency" because it really hasn't been used. Thanks to the State Department, no doubt...

I heard on Fox that the stop at the State Dept first was perhaps 'symbolic' of changes in his approach.
I laughed.
He will continue to rely on his military advisors as he has from the beginning.

He defined success in Iraq as "a country that governs, defends itself, that is a free society, that serves as an ally in this war on terror". I no longer think this is possible.

We should definitively "talk" with Syria and Iran.
Tell them to stop supporting terrorism or else get carpet bombed.
Give them a month to comply.
