Many years ago in New Orleans, a man robbed the National Bank downtown. The bank had a door on the front and one on the side. He ran out the front and went around the building, sat down at the curb to count his money. The cops responded to the alarm by rushing to the side door because it was closer. When they jumped out, the first thing they saw was the thief.

I had a friend who smoked marijuana regularly, he was a mental burnout. I suppose some escape harmful effects, but who wants to take the chance.
Some smoke cigarettes and never get cancer, is it worth the risk?

I can't believe how many people end up calling the police on themselves.I'm always coming across stories about domestic disputes leading to big drug busts. It's not a good idea to call the police when you have hundreds of pot plants, grow lights and rooms covered in tinfoil.

"The thief has not been found." Are they even looking for him?

There are people in this world that haven't a clue about what is legal or illegal. Pot sales have been going on forever and some clowns actualy don't know it is against the law. This guy probably couldn't even find Kansas on a map.

Man calls police to report stolen weed
Jul 27, 2005
A Texas man was arrested on Monday after calling police to complain about the theft of his marijuana, authorities said.
Stephen Knight, 17, said three men had broken into his apartment, hogtied him with Christmas lights and stole some marijuana, along with a plasma screen television, police said.
Police are looking for the suspects. In the meantime, they arrested Knight after finding several marijuana plants growing under heat lamps in the apartment, four grams of harvested marijuana and a tablet of ecstasy, Officer Chad Ripley said.
Knight said the men barged into his home early on Monday morning demanding, "Where's the weed?," according to San Antonio police.

well, it does make some sense to call the cops, cuz the one legitimate function of government is property protection. Thus, he made the right call, but unfortunately, because of the illegality of the substance the victim was arrested instead of the perpetrators. This sort of violence is encouraged because next time, if he is smart, he will get a gun to defend his property. Those who stole from him this time now know that if they steal 'illegal' things, they cannot be caught, thus government encourages theft and the violence of the WOD continues unabated...

Funny how words change meanings.
What, back in the day when you were a gay little fellow? ;-)

He should have just reported the plasma screen TV stolen, and NOT the weed.
To: Past Your Eyes
My reference was to a Cheech & Chong routine which was probably popular in the doper comedy wave of the mid 70's.
To: Wally_Kalbacken
Most of that escaped my notice.

She has dealt with folks involved with drugs during all that time, and she says that she can almost always tell at what age someone started smoking marijuana regularly, because that is the age at which their mental development ground to a halt.I would agree with that with one caveat.
You can tell at what age someone started using marijuana heavily because that is the age at which their mental development stops.
I say heavily because I know many that have used regularly, but not heavily, that have grown up and taken their places in society.

Typically, the ones who start smoking it regularly as teenagers tend to abuse it, thus the heavy use.
