Sea-Tac always called them "Holiday Trees"
The media pushed the "Christmas Tree" issue.
It was NEVER about "Christmas Trees" until the media, and the Rabbi got involved.
If there are no "Christmas" trees then there can be no Menorah.
They can have "Holiday Candelabra" but that's as far as it goes...
OK, FReepers, here's an IQ test.
If you get the right answer, your IQ is definitely over 70.
Q: What HOLIDAY, occurring in December every year, is traditionally celebrated by the placing and decoration of TREES?
It never should have been about Christmas trees because although they are a holiday treat to look at, and to perk up joyful spirits, Christmas trees are NOT a religious symbol of any religion religion. And, neither is Santa Claus a religious symbol. Christmas trees are not tantamount to a creche display of the nativity scene, which would be a religious symbol. Therefore, since Christmas trees are not a religious symbol no religious group has the right to demand equal display at the airport.
