I used to think LBJ was the worst President in American history.
But then Carter came along and the goalposts were moved back considerably. Not only was Carter the worst President in history, he's making the ex-Presidency of Bill Clinton look positively statesmanlike.

One of my historical interests is in obscure Presidents like Martin van Buren and Warren Harding. Based upon this, I have many more favourable things to say about the likes of van Buren and Harding than I do about Carter.
