Of course they will. They aren't informed enough to know he once was a demorat. Then again the refer to Michael Bloomberg as a Republican also.

okay, let's be fair here. David Duke was a Democrat at a time when Southern Democrats were strongly opposed to granting civil rights to blacks. The Republican's southern strategy split many of these Democrats away from their party and lured them into the Republican party. Strom Thurmund is a good example. He ran a militantly pro-segregation presidential campaign in 1948 as a Democrat and switched to the Republican party in 1964.

The South was dominated by very conservative Democrats from reconstruction to the civil rights movement. From the civil rights movement to now it has been trending to the Republican party to the point that it is now solidly Republican.

So using the argument that David Duke was once a Democrat has a lot of blow back. It's also true that the Republicans lured these anti civil rights Democrats into the Republican party.

David Duke is really a neo-nazi.
