Reuters: David Duke Is An ?American Academic?

TEHRAN (Reuters) - Iran opened a conference on Monday to examine the Holocaust and question whether Nazi Germany used gas chambers to kill Jews, drawing condemnation in the West and criticism from Iran’s Jewish community. . . .

Among the participants was U.S. academic David Duke, a former Louisiana Republican Representative. He praised Iran for hosting the event.

“There must be freedom of speech, it is scandalous that the Holocaust cannot be discussed freely,” Duke, a former Ku Klux Klan leader told Reuters. “It makes people turn a blind eye to Israel’s crimes against the Palestinian people.”

David Duke is an academic? I’m… speechless. But what more are you going to expect from a news service that refuses to call the monsters who suicide attack our troops and hide behind civilians in Iraq “terrorists.”

And calling him a Republican is a bit of a misnomer too, given that no less than Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush campaigned with his opponent. He may have been on the ticket as a Republican, but he got no help from the GOP.

And what makes one an "academic"? One could always get a diploma of some kind - why, every squirrel on Princeton campus was at least a BS. So, are these squirrels "academics", too?

The similarities between Duke and the Klan pink crowd are becoming too clear and all the media can do is attempt to lend him credibility.

Al Reuters loves mentioning that David Duke WAS a Republican. Currently he is an Independent and before he was a Republican he was a Democrat and then an Independent.

But to Al Reuters he'll always be symbolic of all Republicans.

Duke is to academia what Jesse Jackson is to the clergy.

Better be careful there...there are a few posters here that will get after you because you are insulting a person with an (R) after their name. I kid you not.
As for me, David Duke does not even represent the human race.

Reuters is even more fake than the AP, if that is possible.

I wonder what the good folks at DU will be saying about this and the mafioso-fascist islamist regime in conrol of Iran now??? Will they associate themselves and their cause with the David Dukes of this world and continue to excuse and justify this clan of thugs who control Iran???

There are few differences between the extreme Right and the extreme Left.

That's going to leave a mark!

Duke received a doctorate from a Ukrainian diploma mill that's notorious for antisemitism. He now makes a point of styling himself "Dr. David Duke" at every opportunity. And check out his plastic surgery. One more facelift and he'll be able to pass for an Asian woman.
