A GENERATION IS ALL THEY NEED

By the time my four year old son is swathed in the soft flesh of old age, he will likely find it unremarkable that he and almost everyone he knows will be permanently implanted with a microchip. Automatically tracking his location real time, it will connect him with databases monitoring and recording his smallest behavioural traits.Toronto Star

For everyone who thinks a National ID is a good thing--IMHO, the National ID is a giant step down the slippery slope to the society being described here. I further believe that a National ID will have NO effect on our illegal alien problem--our governement is not interested in ridding this country of illegals.

This sounds worse than a National ID, this sounds like the Mark of the Beast. Nothing is going to be implanted in my skin especially no Mark of the Beast.

IBM and the Holocaust

http://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/jsource/index.html
Research is all there for the reading.

Only after Jews were identified -- a massive and complex task that Hitler wanted done immediately -- could they be targeted for efficient asset confiscation, ghettoization, deportation, enslaved labor, and, ultimately, annihilation. It was a cross-tabulation and organizational challenge so monumental, it called for a computer. Of course, in the 1930s no computer existed.

But IBM's Hollerith punch card technology did exist. Aided by the company's custom-designed and constantly updated Hollerith systems, Hitler was able to automate his persecution of the Jews. Historians have always been amazed at the speed and accuracy with which the Nazis were able to identify and locate European Jewry. Until now, the pieces of this puzzle have never been fully assembled. The fact is, IBM technology was used to organize nearly everything in Germany and then Nazi Europe, from the identification of the Jews in censuses, registrations, and ancestral tracing programs to the running of railroads and organizing of concentration camp slave labor.

IBM and its German subsidiary custom-designed complex solutions, one by one, anticipating the Reich's needs. They did not merely sell the machines and walk away. Instead, IBM leased these machines for high fees and became the sole source of the billions of punch cards Hitler needed.

This is not so far fetched anymore

They are already talking about the advantages such a system will gain for corporations that hire their workers. They will be able to see your school history, (Which by then will be public only) they will know your medical, criminal and complete driving history, complete employment history, credit history, past salary's and pretty much everything about you in mere seconds.

Red herring.

A social security number is not in any way attached to your body.

Revelations makes it clear that the mark will be part of the body, either on the wrist or forehead, and that a person will not be able to participate in commerce without it.

That's not to say that RFID is indeed the mark. Just that your argument doesn't address the concern raised.

Oh brother...I guess you don't have a ss#?

The SS# is only good for paper tracking. The microchip could be used for satellite tracking. It could be used in place of a credit or debit card, remotely controlled by ???? Implanted microchips make the NSA telephone surveillance look like a tupperware party mailing list compared to personal info a microchip implant would chart.

I have nothing to hide, so why resist? Nothing personal big brother, but the word private still has meaning.

"I didn't know my SS # was required to be implanted in my skin."

Are you really this naive? Freepmail me your name and SSN and I'll have a complete bio on you in ten minutes, tops. I'll even throw in all of your traffic tickets, gratis. :)

I understand your panic, but if you have a SSN, ever had a tax-paying JOB, ever been married, had a credit card, bought a home or a car, been divorced, been sued for anything, been in the military, post on Free Republic, had a kid that you claimed as your own whether legitimate or not, or even had a grocery store "Super Saver" card...you're in the system.

Personally? I don't care if I'm chipped...but they need to stay the hell away from chipping my animals and livestock.

Sounds weird, I know, but I've been an American since 1960. And I'm an Army Vet. I have no secrets, LOL!

There you go! Just live your life as if you have no secrets and all will be well. ;)

The Re-Education Camp Bus will be 'round to pick you up in the morning. Some days it really sucks to be an American, but she's still the Best Show in Town.

I don't have a problem with the government fighting terrorism but it shouldn't sell our personal information to private companies. It shouldn't abuse its authority by invading the privacy of innocent people who have no connection to terrorism.

I was being sarcasitic when I said that. I know my social security number isn't being implanted into my skin here. I know I'm in the system. You're missing my point. My point is is this sounds like a forerunner to the Mark of the Beast.
