Bingo!!! I am familiar with the constructin business. I have 3 good friends that had small home improvement businesses, while they weren't millionaires they made a decent living. All three have quit the business, they cannot compete with the illegals who work for alot less. All three with kids, mortgages, car payments, etc. Yes, in a free market competetion does set the price, however, when Joe Smith bids a job to finish your basement, he has to include, workman's comp, pay for his workers, taxes, etc. When an army of illegals comes in, they don't pay any of the extras, they pool the money made because they all live together and don't have the same expenses as Joe Smith. The illegals are not playing with the same rules as the citizen worker, therefore the going market price is skewed.
