Gone quiet(Almost too quiet)

CNN) -- It's quiet. Almost too quiet.

That's what you get in a horror movie, just before something bad happens. But does the same cliché hold true in the world of al Qaeda, whose leaders have gone very quiet?

We had a flurry of messages from al Qaeda's number two, Ayman al-Zawahiri, around the time of the fifth anniversary of the September 11 attacks. There was an al Qaeda propaganda video about the 9/11 plot, a message to Americans urging them to convert and another message bemoaning the fate of alleged 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammad who was captured in 2003. There was even an al Qaeda-conducted interview with al-Zawahiri.

Ok...point taken...but look at Damadola...note how fast they produced Zawahiri in a video to prove to the world he was still alive. Now notice the silence after we struck at him again....

Does anyone have a link for a timeline of released messages, audio and video? I've seen a few pages through google but they were quite incomplete.

Look at the audio and video that AQ has put out in the past 5 years, and the timing.

Another point...the timing....when ever we have struck at the leadership they produce a tape..audio or video to let the cannon fodder who follow them know that the leadership is still alive.....this time nothing...silence.

I believe that you are right.

At one time I thought that they may begin attacking over here by June or July but now I think that they will wait until after the '08 Presidential election in order to help the Democrats.

I also think that the Democrats will keep a low profile as far as implementing their agenda until after the '08 election. In '06 they learned that the voters would believe their lies and bullshit when they said that they were for everything Conservatives advocated.

They fooled the idiots one time and they can do it again in two years and this time they will be ready to go.

Brilliant!
So are you saying that he is gone or that they are laying low?

So, if we hear something it's a bad sign. If we don't hear something it's a bad sign. The only good sign is hering "just enough?"

Unless, Bush does not wait for that to happen. Pure conjecture, but feasible.

We hear something it means they think they plugged the leak.....which is bad for our hunters. And if we don't hear something...it means it will conitinue to drive me nuts...:-)

So, it's like having kids? If they are in their room smashing lamps and listening to hip-hop at full volume it's bad. If they are in their room with dead silence, it's also bad.
