The "rule of law" does not mean "follow the list of detailed instructions".

In fact it sometimes means "seek justice even if the law must be totally ignored" ~ juries sometimes do this you know, and our system (of law) provides for the Chief Executive to pardon just about everything.

You Libertarian/Libertines are so funny sometimes ~ seeking to dazzle us with your crazy "word work" and lead us astray down the path of this and that "legalism" until at the end injustice is done to the innocent and weak and you are empowered to exercise raw ego in every situation irrespective of the damage to others.

I recall that we had no "roadblocks" ~ just observation operations. It still took a reasonable suspicion to pull people over and the cops did damned little of that.

As I recall the cops wouldn't even tell us they were looking for two black men.

You seem to be enamored of this word "trolling". Didn't your daddy let you put more hooks on the line or what?

I repeat post #407 for you.

"Roadblocks are used to catch criminals dude. Let's say a criminal escapes from a prison. You wouldn't allow police to set up roadblocks to search every friggin vehicle within a certain range? ..."

Anyone who doesn't believe in roadblocks to search cars and trucks in order to capture an escaped criminal is not rational and therefore irrevelant to any thoughtful discussion.

Repeating your inane errors does not make them any more valid, dude.
