I don't get it. Why does anyone care what names France is giving their streets and why are my congressmen wasting valuable time debating and voting on it? We have our own country to fix. Let the french deal with France.

"Incoming Chair of House Judiciary Committee stands up for cop-killers

Via James Taranto's Opinion Journal - Best of the web, citing clerk.house.gov/evs/2006/roll527.xml as source for the votes."

SNIPPET: "Tellingly, every member of the Pennsylvania delegation who was present voted "yes."

The most disturbing name on the "no" list is that of John Conyers. Granted, this is only a symbolic vote, but is it really a good idea to entrust the chairmanship of the Judiciary Committee to a man who casts a symbolic vote for a cop-killer and against his victim?"

One by one the crooks and crum bums are introduced to the public. Each one worse than the last.

A better -- and more descriptive name -- would be the "Cop Killer Caucus"
