half-truth is what you wrote..the media did the majority of the "making your people look bad". US News and World Report did an article on my units mission. They picked apart "quotes" and gave a misinformed story. Go figure as if you believe all those stories from the 90s to current, you are as naive as a five year old kid, bucko.
At the time I lived in Germany, if you read the posts you'd know that. I as the rest of Western Europe saw very well who the refugees where, what some of them looked like, how some of them showed visible signs of abuse, and you can play make belief all you want today, there were many EU representatives, UN troops before NATO came in, various NATO forces from several nations who reported the same. There is a reason why the international court has found 48 senior political and military leaders (Most Serb) guilty of war crimes after an intense and in depth investigation of these alleged acts.
But we all know, the UN Protection Force was making these things up. The International Court in The Hague is a kangaroo court that has it out for the Serbs. Troops from various NATO countries are conspiring in this grand cover up where the Serbs really didn’t commit these atrocities and were actually just the victims of Muslim Jihadists. Of course the media is just spinning it and the national governments in Europe that were receiving the refugees of this war are also making that up…… I got it.
Now, back to reality. Not every Serb is bad. Not every Muslim was a victim and they too did bad things to Serbs. However, as a “state” it was Serbia that had the motive, will, and capabilities to wage war. It was their political and military leadership that like in Nazi Germany systemically engaged in illegal activities. It was the Serbs who did NOT want to stop this conflict and had to be forced to secede military operations through NATO armed intervention. Had some resemblance of justice not been brought into the Balkans, the Serbs would not have done anything to those who deliberately committed war crimes. Crimes for which people 60 years earlier were hung. The same sort of crimes which the Serbs accuse the Germans of in WWII are those the Serbs today attempt to rationalize since they were the ones committing them on others.
The rest, is all rhetorical nonsense. It’s polemics that lacks a rational and feasible basis when analyzed in depth. Concocting 911 conspiracies and connections, speculating about oil motivations for NATO intervention, attempting to claim that Serbia was the victim, denying the atrocities committed, all this does not make you look any better.
