I'm not big on lawsuits, but the three accused players, the WHOLE Duke Lacrosse team and Duke University needs to get themselves some REALLY good trial lawyers and go to town on Nifong and his lying bimbo. This is BS. The bimbo's lies screwed up a whole year of a bunch of people's lives. SHE MUST NOT BE ALLOWED TO GET AWAY WITH IT. Her actions NEED TO HAVE CONSEQUENCES or this kind of crap will continue to happen. As for the shyster, Nifong, JUST STRING HIM UP! He also needs to suffer the consequences for screwing up the lives of innocent people. Anyone with half a brain (like myself) knew from the gitgo that this whole thing was a pile of politically motivated bovine scatology.
I totally agree with you, but the problem is the "victim" will have no money to obtain in a lawsuit, and I wish but don't know whether she could do prison time from filing a false claim. Any suit(s) against her, of course, will be branded as racist.
As for Nifong, it seems I remember somebody on Fox said he can't be sued due to his position. I don't know what the law is on that, or whether he can be disbarred for misconduct. The whole thing is outrageous.
