"Senator John F. Kerry said Wednesday that President Bashar Assad of Syria expressed a willingness to work with the United States to bring stability to Iraq.."

Oh yea? So what are you planning to give away now Mr. skerry? Not part of someone's sovereign nation I hope.

I know all I can do is spout off and call these representatives like Kerry,Dodd and Nelson traitors, but really why doesn't the administration humiliate them if nothing else for their independent meddling. I really think this is worse than anything I've seen yet. I'm lost in understanding how these dems can talk to known enemies that are contributing to the terrorists that are causing a lot of the chaos and killing in Iraq with our American soldiers there. I just read an article that Iran's leader is actually using these dimwits as a reason to mock the President on how Americans are against him as much as the rest of the world...These dems are traitors but should be called out on this by the administration.Kerry in particular because of his pattern of aiding and abetting in time of war with our enemies and should be charged with treason. I'm obviously wrong on the law of all this because Kerry is still serving in congress. I guess I'm just disgusted with these jerks like Kerry undermining our efforts in Iraq ....these dems are like the enemy within, IMO. Sorry for the long reply.

I know if it were me talking to that dog, Assad, I would have been punished to the fullest extent of the law. Instead, the dog Kerry, will be lauded for his efforts (by liberals) for talking to a head of state.

"He offered some very direct and concrete ways in which they could be helpful in Iraq," Kerry said in an interview conducted by telephone from Damascus. "I came away with a distinct feeling that there are opportunities here. There are fronts in which we can work together if people are inclined to."

Un huh. Like you worked in Viet Nam and other places -- not for the US, but against our interests. Think again, traitor.

>>>...[Kerry]said the meeting with Assad reinforced the need to follow the Iraq Study Group's recommendation...<<<

In otherwords....surrender. Kerry's experienced in conveying that message to the US Government. He advised "surrender" after "negotiating" with the Viet Cong in Paris in 1972[date?]!

History repeats itself - Kerry repeats his illegal negotiations with the enemy!

He added that he is interested in visiting Iran as well at an "appropriate time" that's well-removed from the country's recent conference for Holocaust deniers, which Kerry labeled "absurd and insulting."

Boy, that'll teach them!

And to think of all the honorable men and women of our past who have loved their country and made it the world's greatest democracy to see it come down in such a way. This jerk is a US Senator and from the state that was instrumental in our independence. The Demonrats want to turn us over to the UN and destroy us with their open encouragement to our enemies. Such are the times. What is left to fight for when we are getting this bad?
