Ithaca was named Sodom. That is just too wierd. Why did they change the name? LOL

At the time we didn't have the same stringent truth in advertising laws we have today.

Well, there are a few jobs opening up as small industries come into the area. I don't know how they voted in the senate but in the presidential race many counties went for Bush including Onondaga and Madison. I know there were others. Walsh won barely in NY state this last election. Valesky, democrat, stayed in his seat. Lots of elections were very close here, as I believe it was all over the country.

Today's the Ithaca Journal has two letters to the editor about this incident from city residents. Both letters seemed to blame the vandalism, not on anti-Christian bigotry, but the high cost of electricity, with one Ithacan going so far as to applaud the act:

I suspect that the person or persons who cut the power ... did so to protest the excessive use of the community's power resources. Perhaps it was, in an unusual way, an expression of Christmas spirit. We must save the world's resources in every way we can to save us all.

Ithaca is the City of Evil.

A city of evil, yes, however the fact there were crosses there in the first place indicates ALL hope is not lost. Dosen't it?
