Two words, Arlen Specter and Zell Miller shoot your theory all to hell and back. It's like the people who say Black = Thug, White = Angel. The word you are looking for is "Some", in the future try not to paint all people with the same brush.

That's all well and good on the individual level. Try telling it to Joe Lieberman. I am not that stupid that I think in generalities like the above. The reality is we are governed by a two party system. The committees control the legislative agenda. There are vast differences in the democrat and republican agendas. If you vote for the individual politician at this point in our history you become a tool of political deception. Jim Webb is not more principled and more conservative than George Allen. He is first a democrat, because party affiliation determines the makeup of the committees, and party leadership fills them. Voting for Webb, even though he is pro gun, is a vote for gun control because Reid won't let this guy get near a committee that will affect the second amendment. There is no strategy in politics today that involves bipartisanship. The democrat party is the enemy of free Constitutional America. They view the republicans as the enemy of progressive government. There is no in between.

The lawmakers are considering abandoning a requirement in the Senate bill that would compel several million illegal immigrants to leave the United States before becoming eligible to apply for citizenship.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

TheDemocrat and Republican Aristocrats no longer represent the people on this issue. They are infected with a disease: Revisionist Historical Guilt. They wish to make right the so called moral sins of their forefathers. In this they no longer represent the American people, they represent only only the Dems and Republicans who want cheap labor and good feelings about history. Too many of them have hispanic servants and au pairs. They represent the ultimate special interest group that wishes to destroy our nation as we know it, change its language from English to Spanish, and make the imperatives of our founding fathers meaningless.

The machinery of the " American Melting Pot," is broken, and now these "bipartisan" politicians seek to fabricate a further disunited nation, through a social engineering that will result in a new social model along the lines of Canada, known there as "cultural mosaic." So we will no longer be a free nation, but a collectioon of passive provinces, under the boot heel of a socialist government.

Illegal Aliens MUST be repatriated, and our current laws enforced. Our nation is no longer a nation where the rule of law is applied, and making new "laws" to pretend this situation away, is the same as legalizing drugs, so we will not have as much "crime."

The illegal aliens are here for only one reason: economic benefit. They have no desire to become citizens, share in predominant US culture and its associiated freedoms. They seek to form a "cosa nostra" in a form of demographic warfare that bodes civil strive for our immediate future.

I just wonder how far our "bipartisan" government will go in trading away our basic freedoms and rule of law? They will stop only when we get rid of them, and get rid of them we must. Its the only option we have.

Thanks for having my back on that one,Carolyn.I am anything BUT a class warfare Marxist type.
One saying my folks had was"a real man WORKS".I had a lot of gritty, low paying jobs growing up but never was ashamed that I was out busting my butt in the hot sun while many of my better off contemporaries were lounging at the beach or scooting around Tahoe in their dad's Criss Craft.
I had my fun too but hard work shaped me into who I am today.

I think there is a lot to be said of hard work. I see too many kids today thinking they have to start at the top. IMO because many have not had to work, like earlier generations did, on family farms or other hard summer jobss to help pay for their school supplies, clothes, etc.

Coming from SoCal I can't tell you how many kids turned 16 and got a new BMW or similar vehicle. When I was growing up the kids had to work for a car and it was seldom, if ever, a new car. There is nothing wrong with that, it actually builds character.
