You are right. It is difficult to tell sometimes whether the Islamists are using the Marxists or if it's the other way around. But we have to fight them both at the same time. In Israel, in America, in every part of the world.

Before WWII, the Nazis and the Communists (same whore, different dresses) courted the Arabs and Persians because of the oil in the ME and to diminish the European and American influence there. Each wanted to secure a reliable oil supply for their coming war efforts. It was also convenient that Muslim beliefs and the tactics of Hitler and Stalin were compatible. They still share that affinity.

After WWII, the USSR increased its efforts there by arming many of the Arab nations and pushing anti-Americanism.

The creation of Israel by the UN in 1948 was exploited to inflame old Arab-Jew passions and to blame the USA for it. The US armed and protected Israel and supported the Shah in Iran, the Royal Family in Saudi and a few others.

That is where we are today except that the Communists have made great strides in this country since then. Our greatest threat is the enemy within, led by the Democrats.
