You must see the past only through deeply tinted rose colored glasses. You made quite a judgement about me when all I did was post an article and no opinion at all about this subject. Have a cup of Knee jerk for breakfast, did ya?

So you don't see that the article was a hit piece directed at military recruiting? You just posted it in the interest of discussion without recognizing its intent? OK whatever.

You're 'generalizaton' was taken exactly as it was intended, 'Mike'.
Like I said, it must've struck a nerve then. It would be wise to realize that you don't have a friggin clue what the hell you are talking about in this instance.
Unlike someone I COULD mention, my name truly IS Mike and I AM from Ohio.
Isn't that right Mr. Tancredo "kim"??????

LMAO...surely you aren't implying that I AM Tom Tancredo?
We can go back and forth and debate the real issues here or you can just admit you support the OBL agenda, but implying I'm Tancredo, can't you see how ridiculous that sounds?
Not that it matters, but my name IS Kimberly and I AM from Westerville and you didn't 'strike a nerve', you made a personal attack because you don't want anyone to support anything that is against Bush policy, right or wrong.

I don't know about the other services but for years following WW2 the Navy recruited Philippino men. Originally they served only as stewards (cooking and cleaning for officers) but later they were permitted into other ratings. They were good sailors.

I don't doubt that jimfree, but there are two issues.... this is a post 9/11 world...and we are being governed by leadership that clearly intends, with reckless disregard for our own national security, to secure the agenda of the Open Borders Lobby/North American Union. If necessary, I think Bush will use our own military, use some 'supposed' need for an increase in 'numbers', in order to further 'validate' to the American people, the need for illegal aliens in this country, to do the jobs that American's won't. He repeats this continuously as an insult to all hardworking Americans and I have no doubt he would hesitate to do the same to the military. Unfortunately, there are so many Americans who will be willing to 'let them' join, rather than have a draft, and so he knows this would 'kill two birds with one stone'. IMO.

No even Tancredo realizes that this is a tradition of our military while his nutty followers don't wany ANY immigration, legal or not.

We can go back and forth debating the issues, but you sound nutty just doing that so implying you are Tom Tancredo is just a way to get an irrational person to spout off AGAIN.

If I didn't strike a nerve, WHY do you keep bringing it up????
