Wasn't Angela Davis a member of the Black Panthers or connected with them?
I don't think Angela Davis was a Black Panther. She became a cause celebre of the left when she was arrested for helping to arrange a prison break at Soledad, CA. She was known to be a Marxist, I think a member of the Communist Party-USA.
