Former Us Weekly gossip columnist Timothy McDarrah, arrested in New York last year by undercover federal agents, has been found guilty of charges related to soliciting sex with a minor.
McDarrah, a former reporter at the Las Vegas Sun, was arrested after being charged with trying to seduce an undercover federal agent posing on the Internet as a 13-year-old girl.
He was charged with one count of using a computer and the Internet "to attempt to entice, induce, coerce and persuade a minor to engage in sexual activity," according to an indictment handed up in November He was convicted Dec. 20 after an eight-day jury trial in New York, and faces a mandatory minimum of five years in prison, according to court documents.

Too bad. If he had been born female, blond and attractive he could have been a middle school teacher and gotten all he wanted and probation if he got caught.

Now you know why MSM is always pro pervert and always arguing on the side of childrens rights advocates. The hidden agenda is for them (the children) to be able to give consent to sex with those balding old men at the age of 12, instead of 16. Sixteen is to old by their standards.
They probably range from 13-16, looking for 21-35.
To tell you the truth, I have come to think that the last 13 year old girl left the Internet back in 2002 with an undercover FBI agent and they're living in the New Mexico mountains just above the treeline making a fortune spoofing the locals with their sexy smoke signals.
My defense would be that everyone knows there are no 13 year olds on the internet,only FBI agents posing as them.

PROVO — A judge on Monday ordered a woman accused of sexually abusing a boy to complete sex-offender and substance abuse treatment, bringing the 4-year-old case to a close.
Amber Childs, 30, was sentenced in 4th District Court on three class A misdemeanors — two lewdness involving a child and one of attempted witness tampering.
Childs will not spend any more time in jail, Judge Samuel McVey ruled, and he gave her credit for time spent in the Utah State Hospital and suspended the remaining few months.
Prosecutors say that Childs sexually abused a 6-year-old boy in her American Fork home, then told the child to keep it a secret or he would get in trouble. Childs pleaded no-contest to the charges in October.
The case was filed in 2002, but multiple delays for mental competency reviews, changing attorneys and medical procedures pushed back a resolution of the case until now...
