Checked out. Swing high and long, Saddam, and may Iraq use the suspension method on you.

To: Lazamataz; All

I am not the world's biggest fan of capital punishment, but there are cases - like this one - where it is absolutely deserved and necessary. Perhaps I'm a little more sensitive about monsters like Saddam because another such monster, back in the 1940's wiped out a good portion of my extended family. So I don't fell too guilty about enjoying the demise of the Butcher of Baghdad. As a favor, though, I'd like to ask you all to join me at the moment of justice and say a prayer for Saddam's many victims. Thanks.
- Andy.

Thanks for the ping. Yes, Saddam deserves to die and I hope that his fast approaching death is slow and painful.

Hi Lazamataz, I wish every bleeding heart liberal could see this and truly feel the pain Saddam inflicted on his victims. Anyone who has called for saving this monster's life or is saddened by his death is sick in the head, heart and soul. I shed tears tonight when I heard he was finally dead. But my tears were not for Saddam. They were for every man, woman and child who was brutally tortured and murdered and for all military men and women who sacrificed their lives to end his murderous regime and his hopes of bringing destruction to us all.

This was personal, very personal, to me and my family. I know it was the same for other families who have had and still have loved ones serving in Iraq. And also, the families of those who were killed during Desert Storm. May all who have lost loved ones due to Saddam's reign of terror now find some peace and comfort.
