President Reagan's IIRC was during the daytime. I think after wrapping up in Washington, the Reagan family flew back to California in time for a sunset service back at the ranch.
His service at the Capital was early evening. His formal funeral service was in the morning so he could get back for the sunset burial -- which still gives me chills to remember the sun setting just at the appropriate moment.
