Then came another voice: "Let him swing for three minutes."

Gotta LIKE that guy!

The sons and a grandson were killed in a gunbattle with the American forces in Mosul in July 2003.

Never bring guns to an anti-tank missile fight. While there was a gunfight, it ended when we brought up a TOW launcher.

Among minority Sunnis there was deep anger, born not only of Saddam's execution but of the loss of their decades-long political and economic dominance that began with Saddam's ouster in the U.S. invasion nearly four years ago.

Bring out the tiny violins.

Pour a bottle of whiskey on his grave -- filtered through your kidneys.

Flavor with some pork rinds, a couple of pork chops, and a ham sandwich, filtered through... well you know.

t will be treated like all the other mosques and shrines in the country. Just another target for the opposite denomination. One guy will piss on it an another will bow and cry. Then the shooting will start. Within 2 years the Shiite's will have to dig him up and destroy the bones.

Remembering that the Sunnis are a minority and the Tikritis who actually liked Saddam are a minority within the Sunni minority, that sounds like a Good Thing.

What bothers me about them being stuck in the 7th century was that the 7th century was AFTER the great civilizations of Greece, Egypt and Rome - many parts of which they trampled in their ignorance.

Target of Opportunity spot.

Didn't we pass up one in Afghanistan a little while back?

"Trenton? I was born there. What's it like now? Is it similar to Dearborn?"

Trenton today is nowhere near being a Dearborn. It just has the seedy places it has always had. Of course, they have been under Democrats control for years, it figures.

Democrats are never fronted with all the failures they have had over the years. You name the big city.

"I condemn the way he was executed and I consider it a crime," said 45-year-old Salam Hassan al-Nasseri, one of Saddam's clansmen who attended the interment.

"I was making big money before he was offed! Dammit!

"They probably would be better off putting Saddam in an unmarked grave."

Granted. There will be so much urine on his grave that his coffin may surface. Hopefully, there will also be enough feces on it to weigh the coffin down.
