At first glance I thought they were referring to our powerful high school football teams here in Clovis, Ca.

As I'm sure you know, we played a "Clovis bowl" some years back where our Clovis Cougars played your Wildcats and it was just great! I THINK we played a 2 game "home and home" with you guys. I know you won the first game big and I'm not sure about the 2nd? but the Clovis v Clovis aspect was classic. We should do it again. Our Clovis East just went to Midland and played Midland Lee last year in a double overtime thriller (win).

This is the first time in my memory that the major media, along with the weather reporting sources have focused on Pacific tropical storms; the only thing I can think that would cause this is a general embarrassment for not having any disasters to report on the Atlantic disturbances.
Got to keep the Global disaster crisis fired up, I guess.

I didn't hear about the Clovis Bowl, but I'll bet it was a classic. I moved to NC about twenty years ago, but still have family in Melrose, about twenty miles west of Clovis.
IMO the Clovis Bowl should be a two out of three series.
If I am alive and they do it again, I will be there.
All I can say is: "Go Clovis!"

I would expect Clovis to be sharp, wherever it's pointed.
(If you laughed at that, you're an anthropology or archaeology geek, and it's time to own up to it.)

I am sorry to say,I Didn't see Hank's run, or the game either. I will however make sure I see the rest of the Eagles games in the playoffs and the Super Bowl.
