Thank you for posting the pictures and this thread...I missed it. Getting a turkey ready to put in the oven.
God Bless President Ford and his family.
Riiight. They'll pat themselves on the back and say they shamed President Bush into showing up there.
There's the keeper --- Rummy and wife. Rummy was snowed in and forced to miss the funeral service the night before.

This echos what I have been hearing.
When you think about it, not a bad epitaph.
That was quite a storm. Glad to see he made it there.
I don't recall seeing his wife before, Joyce. I wish them well.
Thought I'd left this world for sure.

I'm reheating 3 day old chili and readying to watch the Rose Bowl. :-)
And I heard this morning on cnn, that Carter will not be attending the cathedral service with the other presidents. He will be giving the eulogy in Michigan, as arranged privately with Gerald Ford.
What to make of that I don't know, but you can be sure I won't be listening.
That's because you don't always visit the Dose --- we post pics of Mrs. Rumsfeld whenever we find them on the Dose. :)
She's still a beautiful woman, but she was a knock out in her younger days and he was a full out HOTTIE!
Thank goodness... now President Bush won't have to see him.
