A year in the life of President Bush (many many photos - not suitable for dial up)

The following photos may not necessarily be the best photos or the most important but they are chosen because they appeal to me and hopefully to you as well. It maybe because of the content, the expression on the face(s) or just an unusual photo.

Originally I was going to attach Part 2 of these photos to tonight's dose (part one were 28th December 2006) but I realised that there were far too many photos to do that and would not be fair to dial up users so I am doing this as a separate thread and also including part one so that all the photos are together.

As with the normal Day in the Life Thread I would request that photos are not posted until the all clear so that we have a chronology series of photos.

Enjoy your bonus visit to Sanity Island

10th August 2006 - photo released by the Gallia County (Ohio) Genealogical Society OGS Chapter, showing the tombstone of Samuel Fletcher Cheney, Vice President Dick Cheney's great-grandfather. Vice President Cheney was accepted honorary membership last month in the Gallia County Genealogical Society. Society members Henny Evans and Mary James did the legwork and invited him to join, sending him photographs of his great-grandparents' tombstones and information about his great-aunt's homestead. (AP Photo/Gallia County Genealogical Society OGS Chapter, Henrietta Evans

I had intended to use the above photo on the dose on 10th August but then forgot so thought it appropriate to include in these selection of photos from 2006.

Continuing in the vein of unusual photos here is one of the "President" again on the 10th August.

She also shared a story about a fishing trip about four years ago with her husband of 42>,br> years."After about three casts, I hit him in the ear," Lynne Cheney said. "It caused a lot of bleeding."

An interesting photo
