This is OK because I'm sure that for every 100 or so dealers put out of business, the ATF will reduce their police force by 10 or so agents. Soon, no dealers, no ATF agents. What? It doesn't work that way???
I'm pretty sure there is a place in the Constitution for the possession of firearms but I can;t seem to find the section on ATF. The constitution delineates the need for an army, a navy, even a post office but I'm stuck as to where a police force is delineated. Dear Abby, please help.

No, this is NOT ok. No FFL's means no places to buy guns (with the exception of private sales). The only places that are probably gettingFFL's now are the big box stores (Cabelas, Gander, Bass Pro) that have millions and millions of dollars to fund lawyers to battle for them. The mom and pop gun shops can't keep up with time times. Fees and regulations are driving them out of business. A local guy just went under. The reason was because of all of the hassle and bullsh*t he had to deal with.

It's also not ok because once they close the FFL's down, they will just start to come door to door. When a FFL goes out of business, the 4473 forms go to the ATF. We already have a pseudo form of registration- the make, model, and serial # of the guns you buy and put on the back on the 4473 form. Confiscation has happened in several parts of the US... it will happen on a national scale... it's not of, its when.

What century do you live in? You're still using a .50 cal rifle? Here in TX I have a concealed carry license for a shoulder-fired missile launcher. Get with the program, friend.

newsflash - Bush is President now...Exactly. Just imagine how bad it could be with Rudy or McLame in charge.
BATFE doesn't report it's every move to anybody. It's just business as usual. This happens all the time. Ruby Ridge was a routine case until it blew up. Same with Waco.
With Rudy or McLame in the Oval Office, just think of Waco as a dry run.
