Putting aside Pat's loonieness (is that a word?) for a moment, and forgetting that Pat is predicting or "prophesying" that this is gonna happen, does anyone disagree that millions of people in America could be killed from an act of terrorism? I certainly have concerns that this very well could happen in the near future--anyone else?

"Everybody send him a check and it will be alright."
Yeah, Pat reminds me of the Right Rev. Dr. Billy Saul Hargus, of the First Church of the Gooey Death & Discount House of Worship...
... Just send me six or seven hundred dollars, ...

If God is telling him, then why isn't his track record 100%? For the same reason you don't hear everything perfectly.
To: sopwith
don't forget moses, they laughed at him too.
____________
How many totally off base predictions did Moses make?

Actually, it was a play on the words "mass killing." Please accept my condolences on the loss of your senses of humor.

"When someone reports that God told him something this specific, It is usually a sign that he wants to promote his own personal opinion, and give it credibility (at least among the snake-handling zealots)by claiming that it came from God."
Good thing you weren't around in Jesus' time. There have been, and will be, genuine prophets in this world. That there are far more people who delude themselves into believing that they, themselves are prophets, changes nothing.

Pat probably kept interrupting Him.

He's nutty, but he's not anti-Catholic.

It's certainly within the realm of conceivability, which is what has brought out the long knives on this thread. He was called crazy over his remarks about Chavez, too.

There's probably a betting line in Vegas for the same scenario.

I normally ignore what Pat Robertson has to say, although when he suggested that someone go down to Venezuela and assassinate Chavez, my ears did prick up a bit.
In fact, I'd be in favor of giving him a loaded Saturday Night Special and dropping him off in Caracas to do the job.
...on the other hand, by his own admission, "sometimes he misses"...

...a terrorist attack on the United States would result in "mass killing" late in 2007. I think he's a couple of years early - they'll wait until President Gore's team of incompetents are firmly in place.

The OT law calls for public stoning of those claiming to speak for G-d and failing to deliver 100% of the time. Guess Pat don't spend too much time cogitating in the OT.

Sooner or later the US is going to get hit with something. One reason is we are dropping our guard and thinking 911 was a one time thing. If we are attacked which even the fbi and all agencies it will be because of us not Pat or God. God helps those who help them selves.
