- Police and family members said a 10-year-old boy who died by hanging himself from a bunk bed was apparently mimicking the execution of former Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein.
Sergio Pelico was found dead Sunday in his apartment bedroom, said Webster police Lt. Tom Claunch. Pelico's mother told police he had previously watched a news report on Saddam's death.
"It appears to be accidental," Claunch said. "Our gut reaction is that he was experimenting."

Show the entire act and these kids might think twice. I bet if they were back in Mexico this poor kid would know all about the effects of violence. They get it uncensored every night. I find it ironic the father is pissed at the news coverage. maybe if they showed the dude swing the kids would have understood it wasn't a game.

No, newscasters assume that everyone follows a story from its beginning. It is evident this child had no idea who SH was or why he was being executed. He saw someone die but without an explanation except from an uncle whose only response was that SH was a bad man. Maybe he thought he was a bad kid for some reason.
How many kids have done this after watching a western?

I have no idea, but watching a western portraying an outlaw being hanged for murder is alot different than watching a news blurb of the same.
