"This ENORMOUSLY fat, toothless white woman in a restaurant was interviewed and she said something like, well I wouldn't mind 'em bein' here, but I wouldn't wanna eat with 'em in a restaurant or nuthin' like 'at."

My goodness, why would they ever have picked such an unattractive person to make a racist comment? They could have picked a beautiful well-groomed relative of mine - she's had TV experience too - but she's too smart to say anything like that in public.

Probably some liberal news person doing the interview just trying to keep the pot boiling. And Enormously Fat Woman's dubious claim to fame.

An enormously fat toothless woman made a racist comment?

Rosie O'Donnell's been doing that a lot lately, it seems. < /sarc >

. . why would they ever have picked such an unattractive person (toothless, fat woman) to make a racist comment?

Obviously, so she would be the face of the typical white southern resident in that area to the nation. The stereotyping of Southerners by the media is a form of racism itself.

You have to love it - the very people who don't believe in name calling, labeling and being mean spirited are the first the employ those methods.
