Mounir al-Motassadeq, terrorism supporter from Hamburg [Germany], was given the maximum of 15 years in prison for his participation in the attacks of September 11. He was indicted of aiding and abetting murder in 246 cases.

The Germans released convicted terrorist Mohammed Ali Hamadi [Serving a LIFE sentence for the 1985 hijacking of a TWA jetliner and the killing of a U.S. Navy diver].
And in 1972 the Germans also released three of the Munich massacre Black September terrorists in a hostage exchange deal after a German Lufthansa jet was hijacked.
