POTUS: "Daniel? Dubya here. Congratulations on the election. I just had a video made that I'm sending to you. It's called 'What Happens When You Screw with US'. It's been all over the news, YouTube, Google. Watch it. Learn from it. Nice talking to ya."

B.S.
Don't believe it is over.
Russia, Cuba, North KOrea, China and their ilk are still trying to bury us.
Ortega is still a socialist and wants to take us down.
Cept during his shopping trips for expensive consumer goods for himself here.

We do huge business with China. Some business with Russia. Cuba and NK are holdovers. Countries do not have "friends." They have interests. And very often (not always) the interests have nothing to do with politics.

all of latin america is going socialist - and with an open border to the US, the economic woes that socialism will bring to them, will be exported here.

Well, Bush now has Reagan's attorney [ See earlier post: Exclusive: Bush Picks a Replacement for Harriet Miers (Reagan WH Counsel Fred F. Fielding) ]... but it's clear he does not have Reagan's character, judgment nor principles.

Ortega was just elected. I think it's a common courtesy for a US President to congratulate him, regardless his background.

"It's called 'What Happens When You Screw with US'. It's been all over the news,"

You mean the one where we send billions of taxpayers dollars to be squandered by insane dictators? Or maybe you mean the one where we try to understand why they don't like us all while respecting their culture and religion. Or maybe you mean the harshly worded reprimand we'll insist the U.N. send. Or maybe.......

Ortega has tried to ease concerns over his domestic plans by offering to work with former enemies in rebuilding a country devastated by the Contra war. He has dropped his Marxist past and pledged to avoid radical changes in the economy.

They are known as "Blue Dog Democrats" here in the U.S.
