I've heard of neo-cons and paleo-cons but I've come up with a new term describing us "patrio-con." We are conservatives who put America first.
I can't think of a time when I have felt so pessimistic. We had such high hopes for the future in 1994, it was just a matter of getting a conservative president and both the house and senate. Well, we had that for six years and our group decided to become democrats, and now they can't wait to suck up and hope that the media will ignore them so that they can go back to enjoying the perks of elected office without any of the responsibilities.
I'm so disgusted. Today, Rush told how the "repukes" are lining up to support democrats and their first 100 hours of legislation. With the same old leadership in place nothing will change except for the worst.
