You are the one saying GOP critics want it all, when all they wanted was the GOP to maintain some semblence of its former values.
You are the one claiming I think it will be better under the Democrats, when I and most other GOP critics have never said anything of the sort.
So you are debating by putting words into my mouth. I, on the other hand, am pointing out what should be clear - that the GOP squandered their power on petty pursuits of the pork barrel, which makes it pretty tough to convince swing voters that continuing GOP control of government is critical for our nations future.
If the GOP truly felt that way, they would have never sold out for trinkets the way they did.
I gather you haven't seen the posts on this forum in the last six months or more where freepers advocated either sitting home or condemning various Republican candidates as unworthy of re-election.
