I agree that the war was probably the primary factor in the war. And sadly, Republicans didn't frame the issues very well.

However, when I talk about "perfect" conservatives, I'm responding to those freepers who post on this forum day and night why various Republican candidates aren't worthy of re-election.

Instead of working to increase our Republican majority, they actually worked on freepers and encouraged them to stay at home and not vote or encouraged them to vote third party (which has no chance of winning anything).
