If this is your response, given the fact you CLAIM to have experienced both good and bad training, then I can't help you anymore.

Firefighters save lives, Female firefighters risk lives. Having been on the volunteer fire dept. for many years in my community and just to supply my 2 cents, I have never needed help from a male volunteer to do my job on a fire, up to and including "manning" the hoses. If that happened I would have quit right then and there. I was often first on scene and didn't hesitate to do my job, whatever was required of me. I am 5'2" tall and weigh 110 pounds

"If this is your response, given the fact you CLAIM to have experienced both good and bad training, then I can't help you anymore." Ok, well, I will surely miss your "help" in the future. But before you go, I was hoping you whould answer my question real quick.
Who do you think should sign off that your subordinate understands, and is complying with, department policy?

Exactly. We have insufficient information outside the "charge". BUT! The way it is reported is SLANTED. It's supposed to appear to readers as tho the ONLY reason feces was smeared on her locker was because she's a GIRRRRRRLLLLLLL.
This is offensive. This is The Rosie O'Donnell imprimater of "reporting". Ghastly.

There are tests that give a strong indication if the sample was from a man or a woman...good suggestion though

Not very smart! The person who did it should come forward and save the rest of his or her (...although it is probably a dude because no self-respecting female would smear crap on anything...) team the time and humiliation. We had an incident about ten years back at the place I work where somebody was smearing menstrual blood all over the inside of the stalls in the ladies room. I can't say whether or not she had any self-respect.

Of course someone should make sure they take the class. Bad oversight is taking attendance, good oversight is making sure the message is understood.

No. She is not an "activist". She would have preferred this had NOT gone to the press. It was leaked to the press by an avtivist with a axe to grind. If there was any female FF to stand up for the males, its this one.

I served as a Coastie, and we had several females at the station. Two of them were better coasties than a lot of the guys I served with. The other 3 females were a danger to be on a boat crew with. They knew it, too, so one served as messcook, the other two did radio room and yeoman work.
Female firefighters do not necessarily risk people lives as long as they are just as qualified as their male counterparts.

I just found This forum as such I don't do this much. And to all the people who are afraid of a female pulling you out of a fire, it takes several FF's to actually get you out if you are unconcious.

WOW... Just thought I’d ask: You Kiss your mother with that mouth? So, I guess I was endangering the lives of my fellow shipmates when I was on one end of a four hundred pound APU that needed to be installed in an aircraft. If you’re speaking from first hand experience and have lost someone due to the Females lack of upper body strength then I can understand your plyth. However, Empathize, if you can for just a moment: Women, especially those choosing to put themselves in a male dominated environment, have to endure the same standardized tests of their male counterparts. Once She has proved to everyone she is capable, she will forever have to prove her capabilities for the rest of her career, no and not like a man has too. I don’t fare well when it comes to all the political garbage, because I am an individual that can and has and will again succeed in a male dominated profession. I will say this: Thank You for writing this! Now I know what I want to be when I grow up.
