Always remember that revolutions are not started by the poor; they haven't the means or energy. They are not started by the rich; they have too much to lose.
They are started by the middle class; abused excessively by taxes, abrogation of their rights by the tyranny of minority interests, and manifest indifference to their situation by an increasingly corrupt and degenerate political class. When the middle class loses hope for themselves and their children, it is time to look out.
Remember, in the French Revolution, Danton was a petty noble, Robespierre a schoolteacher, Fouchet a schoolteacher.
I am pleased that Washington, D.C. has so many lampposts surrounding the Capitol, there will be enough gibbets for all 535 members of the House and Senate.
