However, HUMAN EVENTS has learned that McCain staffers were individually asked if they had any knowledge of the video. They denied having anything to do with it, and apparently first learned of the Romney video when it was posted on Wonkette yesterday morning. I'll believe this when I see the results of their FBI-administered polygraphs.

I don't intend to vote for McCain, but I can't see getting excited about anyone posting a video of Mitt Romney being Mitt Romney (unless it's fake, of course).

Perhaps they injected a mind-control implant into McCain's brain while he was a POW, and now whenever he's sleeping the implant fills his brain with communist thoughts.

I was under the impression that it was Romney's social-liberal background that made him so popular amongst the moderate crowd. Why would Romney even consider attempting to hide his "evolution" to a psuedo-conservative?

Romney said those things in '94, I don't know why he'd be upset that they're coming to light. It's what he believes. He should be himself and let the voters decide.

If I read this correctly, this is nothing more than a video clip from a Senate campaign debate from 1994. I would assume that this debate was aired live on TV and there are many copies of the debate floating around.
So someone posting a video clip from a televised campaign debate is "dirty tricks"?
If thats the case, Mitt doesn't have the stomach for a full Presidential campaign, nor does he have what it takes to actually be President.

Who would be most likely to have saved video from a 1994 Senate campaign debate? How about the other candidate? The one that once wore a neck brace like a halo. I'd be amazed if a politician as successful as Kennedy didn't archive all such information. Can anyone doubt that Kennedy would be willing to leak such information to try to weaken a candidate for the other side he must see as strong? Just because we know McCain for backstabbing and dirty tricks don't overlook the real pros.
